A Rising Tide Foundation Class - From China to Ethiopia: The Fight for a New Paradigm Founded on Natural Law
In this class we unpack the basic formula for the new paradigm that is arriving at speed. The Global South is learning much from the "Superpower" nations and they are making their move now...
Africa is rising and it is about time that everyone on the planet knew about it. The masses are generally quite slow to realize macro changes in the world we call Earth, mostly because they get too distracted by all the Oligarchic micro shadows on the wall of Plato’s cave. Those shadows have more and more successfully entertained and dumbed down the collective mind for decades, while J.F.K’s great renaissance ideas of the 60’s (e.g., The Apollo space program + NAWAPA), that were in fact rooted in natural law, now appear all too lofty and dreamy goals for our war hungry civilization. Fancy that, the civilization responsible for Bach, Plato, the 5th/7th + 9th Symphony, the Ode to Joy, Athens, Vienna or The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore of the great Florentine - Filippo Brunelleschi, is incapable to imagine a world without poverty, to imagine humanity living and working in space or to imagine children being educated to develop and form in reality their own imaginations and dreams, rather than fit into a 9-5 capitalist system that treats all as an automaton devoid of reason or creativity.
And so this class seeks to inspire change in the mind and to challenge stereotypes and preconceived assumptions, that most will find have been built, layer upon layer over decades, through cave-wall plastered propaganda. Ethiopia is a nation that has received a heavy dose of that information war starting with Bob Geldof’s Band-Aid “Do They Know its Christmas” tune, that apparently rocked the masses into some major level show of compassion. That Major-Level Show of Compassion, for that’s truly all it was, amounted to a poxy $180 million USD, that was charitably raised from ordinary peoples hard earning pockets, for the 1984-85 famine in Ethiopia that essentially did very little to increase the economic activity of the nation; the only real driver of poverty reduction! The U.K Government of the time only managed to fork out little over 70 million pounds, less than the men and women on the street could afford and lets not forget to mention that the U.K gov’s very own left-wing hero propaganda outlet - The Guardian, reported on this in just 2010 -
The BBC is standing by a report that claims that 95% of the $100m aid raised to fight famine in northern Ethiopia in 1985 was diverted by rebels and spent on weapons, despite denials by Bob Geldof and leading charities.
In the programme, two former members of the Tigrayan People's Liberation Front, Aregawi Berhe and Gebremedhin Araya, said the group had relied on the aid money to fund its campaign against the then ruling military junta. Berhe, a former TPLF commander, told Plaut that in 1985, only 5% of the $100m raised by charities ended up with the victims of the famine.
Then another alternative publication (SPIN) broke the full story, of which i will simply leave the entire link below, for it is a well worth the time read!

Lets contrast the above, with the Confucian intervention that China had begun to choreograph in the year of the second millennium with the arrival of the FOCAC forum for China-Africa development of relations and thereafter the arrival of Xi Jinping’s Belt and Road initiative, announced in Astana, Kazakhstan in 2013.

Lets say no more and let the class do the rest of the talking, if you enjoy, please share far and wide!

The Sahel region is and will remain the Key to unblocking African Might.
Always a good analysis, what stands out is not a question of goodwill versus ill intent but of method. Sympathy makes noise, infrastructure leaves traces. The real shift happens when a country is treated not as a cause to pity (this word is important) but as a place to build, produce, and project itself into the future. MAKE AFRICA GREAT AGAIN !!!
